Reflecting on House Hunters Appearance

Well, it’s been a week since I appeared on HGTV’s smash hit House Hunters.  After having a week to reflect on it, here are my random thoughts:

• The crew and producer of House Hunters were an absolute joy to deal with.  They made the long days of filming not only tolerable, but a lot of fun
• My clients, Kevin and Stephanie, are even more fun that it showed on TV….and on TV, they looked fun!
• The home we helped Kevin and Stephanie buy in Prosper, TX is now even more beautiful now that they have it decorated
• The yard on the winning home is unreal…..wow, I am jealous
• I have dozens and dozens of family and friends that are more supportive than I deserve.  The response to the show’s premiere was overwhelming.  It really made me understand how lucky I am
• It’s VERY strange to watch yourself walk around on TV
• I really like to say “curb appeal”…. 
• I’m definitely going to try to identify another client that would be interested in doing the show

Overall, I really liked the way the show turned out.  I wish they would’ve plastered my cell phone number on the screen for marketing purposes (972 365 0432), but I understand that they can’t do that.  If nothing else, I’ve noticed that being on the show has been a great topic for conversation both with current clients and with potential clients.
